Update From Administrator – July 23, 2020
Hello everyone,
Summit Commons is pleased that we are now able to facilitate social distancing visits between you and your loved one. We recognize how stressful the visitor restrictions have been on our residents and their family/friend and we want this to be a successful and safe opportunity for all. Procedures have been established with guidance from the RI Department of Public Health, the RI Department of Epidemiology and the State Long Term Care Ombudsman Office and must be adhered to for the safety of our residents. We ask that you please review the below and acknowledge that you understand and will comply with the guidelines.
As we approach our opening for visitations there is some important information that we would like to go over with our families. The projected date for the start of visitations is the week of August 3rd. These appointments will be very structured. Due to a high demand of visitors wanting to schedule appointments with their loved ones, we ask that you please communicate this information with the rest of your families. We understand that there are many visitors that would like to make appointment to see their loved ones. It is not required but we do recommend that the same two visitors come each week.
The schedule is subject to change based on direction from the Rhode Island Department of Public Health.
Thank you,
Summit Commons
