Summit Commons of Providence Recognized with Proclamation During Nursing Home Week

PROVIDENCE, RI – On Wednesday, May 15, Brian Guzman, a staff member from the Office of the Mayor Brett Smiley of Providence, visited Summit Commons Rehabilitation and Health Care Center to present the staff and residents with an official proclamation on behalf of Mayor Smiley.

The proclamation celebrated Summit Commons during National Skilled Nursing Care Week, which ran from May 12 – May 18, 2024. The honorable week pays tribute to the dedication and commitment of all healthcare workers across the skilled nursing industry and celebrates the residents who reside in the centers.

On behalf of Mayor Smiley, Guzman presented the staff and residents of Summit Commons with an official proclamation congratulating the staff for their daily efforts in supporting the residents and acknowledged the high-quality care provided at the center.
